Core Developer - NoSQL Database
Collaborative Software Initiative Inc (CSI) is seeking a candidate for a full time position as a Core Developer to develop a large financial services database product. The database is assumed to be non-relational and will likely utilize technology from the NoSQL family (e.g., Cassandra, CouchDB, HBase, MongoDB). The database must be capable of storing several Terabytes of new data per day and several hundred Terabytes per year. The database will support various queries, but is not intended for direct analysis (that will be done external to the database).
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to database development
- Develop high quality test cases and application code
- Communicate clearly via strong oral and written communication skills within the Core Team
- Contribute to release planning, iteration planning, and retrospective sessions

- Understanding of and experience in the components of the CSI Collaborative Approach
