CSI TriSano® 2.0 provides Electronic Lab Reporting support. With CSI TriSano®, lab test results in HL7 format are first viewed in a staging area. The user can either update an existing event with the lab results, create a new event with the lab results, or discard the lab results. In addition, the system supports the management of LOINC and SNOMED codes for laboratory and clinical observations and tests. CSI TriSano® Electronic Lab Reporting capabilities provide timely access to data so public health officials can take quicker coordinated action.

Mapping New Feature
CSI TriSano® 2.0 embeds Google Map Premier to display a map showing the patient's address, the patient's and contact's addresses, the patient's and place exposure's addresses, or the patient and contact addresses that are the result of a search. CSI TriSano® delivers real-time information across the spectrum of public health entities including local and state health departments.

Geocoding New Feature
CSI TriSano® 2.0 embeds Google Map Premier to find the longitude and latitude coordinates of addresses of patients, contacts, and places. This information can be used to update the address, and is available through the CSI TriSano® data warehouse for further state-of-the-art analysis. CSI TriSano® geocoding delivers real-time geographic information to local and state health departments.

Data Warehouse New Feature
The CSI TriSano® 2.0 Data Warehouse provides ad hoc query, reporting and online analytical processing (OLAP) capabilities against information extracted from the CSI TriSano® transaction system. Data is extracted at user-defined intervals, transformed for ease of access, and loaded into a separate CSI TriSano® data warehouse database. After loading, a business model for the data warehouse is defined for ease of use. In addition to supporting CSI TriSano® core data, the data warehouse also fully supports data captured using disease-specific forms created using the Form Builder and access to this data using all the tools provided. With CSI TriSano® epidemiologists and other public health professionals can analyze rich centralized data.

This new feature of CSI TriSano® 2.0 allows an administrator to merge one or more duplicate people into a selected person, or merge one or more places into a selected place ensuring data integrity and consistency, and improving productivity by simplifying the tasks of managing disease surveillance information.

Jurisdiction Management New Feature
With CSI TriSano® 2.0, an administrator can manage jurisdictions more easily. An administrator can show, create and edit jurisdictions and map countings to jurisdictions. CSI TriSano® makes business workflow processes more efficient. It allows public health officials in different jurisdictions to share important information, contained in a single database, electronically with one another. Information can be quickly routed to the proper jurisdiction for investigation and management and securely shared with others.
Web API New Feature
CSI TriSano® 2.0 provides a Web API for cases, people (patients and contacts), and ELR. A Web API Ruby client is also provided. CSI TriSano® puts the power of customization in the hands of the users of the system. This reduces the costs of implementation and leads to a system that has high value and meets the needs of the users.
Web-Based Help New Feature
CSI TriSano® 2.0 ships with a complete web-based help facility for all users of the system, including system administrators. The help is accessed from the Help option found on every CSI TriSano® screen. This feature adds to the ease-of-use of CSI TriSano® for the systematic collection of disease surveillance data.
